Maktab Qurbani Appeal
Alhamdulillah, our Maktab has secured a quota of 200 goats to be sacrificed on behalf of our students and their families — to support poor and needy families in Malawi 🇲🇼, many of whom would otherwise not have meat to eat on Eid.
🌟 Each goat costs only £45, and we are inviting every family to sponsor at least one goat, bringing immense joy to those in need, and even greater reward from Allah ﷻ.
More than just a donation, this campaign is a chance for your child to connect with the Sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and to understand the value of sacrifice, compassion, and generosity.
📖 The Prophet ﷺ said:
“There is nothing dearer to Allah during the days of sacrifice than the sacrificing of animals”
(Tirmidhi)
📖 He ﷺ also said:
“The person who offers a sacrifice with a sincere heart will be rewarded for every hair on the animal”
(Ibn Majah)
*Please note any surplus funds collated after completion of wajib qurbani will be used to undertake extra nafl qurbani in suitable poor locality by TEF.
